Frank Thomas is an American professional baseball player. He was a first baseman and designated hitter in Major League Baseball, and played for three American League (AL) teams from 1990 to 2008, all but three years for the Chicago White Sox. He is in the American Hall of Fame. He is nicknamed “The Big Hurt.”
