She founded private foundation Bia-Echo, through which she has donated to programs supporting reproductive longevity, fighting climate change, nutrition and fertility research, and criminal justice system reform.

She is an independent candidate for Vice President of the United States in 2024, as the running mate of presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr..
