Louie Psihoyos is an American photographer and documentary film director. He has directed the documentaries The Cove (2009), in which he appeared, and which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film; as well as Racing Extinction, The Game Changers, and Mission: Joy. He is known for his still photography, especially in National Geographic.

His father was a Greek emigrant to the U.S., from Sellasia, Sparta. His mother was also of Greek descent.
