Brian Tee is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the films The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, The Wolverine, Jurassic World, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and on the show Chicago Med, among other works.
His father is a Japanese-American, who was born in a Japanese-American internment camp during WWII. His mother is Korean, and worked as a reporter. His parents met in Okinawa. His name Jae-bum Takata reflects both sides of his family. Brian moved to Hacienda Heights, California, U.S., when he was two. He speaks fluent Japanese, and proficient Korean.
